When Mindset and Behaviour Click, Everything Changes.

Welcome

Pattenden Peak Performance exists because knowledge alone doesn’t create meaningful change. Real transformation happens when mindset and behaviour align.

After years helping people improve their lives through work, sport, education, and health, I realised that most development focuses on what people know, not how they think, adapt, or show up when it matters most.

That insight became deeply personal while studying sport and exercise psychology in 2017. What I was learning about mindset and adaptability shouldn’t be reserved for those who study it.

Everyone deserves access to the tools that help them change, grow, and thrive.

ThinkClick was born to bridge that gap, to turn knowing into doing, awareness into adaptability, and intention into action.

When thinking clicks with our mindset and behaviours, clarity, connection, and confidence follow.

That’s the click moment, the point where people start being who they need to be, so they can become who they are truly capable of being.

TIM'S Story

Tim Pattenden performance and sport psychologist in training

Where it all started — and why it matters.

Back in 1998, I was chasing recognition in every possible way.

Football, performing, training, anything that made me feel seen, valued, or good enough.

I survived by performing.

If people laughed, clapped, or praised me, I felt alive.

If they didn’t, I felt invisible.

It felt like love had to be earned, that my worth depended on how well I did, how hard I tried, or how much others approved.

Then life stopped me in my tracks.

When my Nan passed away, someone who had loved me without conditions, it created a crack in how I saw the world.

It didn’t change everything overnight, but it made me question what I’d been chasing, and what I was really trying to prove.

Over time, I realised something:

  • I was measuring myself by applause, not by alignment.
  • By performance, not by purpose.

That was my click moment.

Not a single event, but a shift, from performing for approval to becoming someone worth believing in, even without it.

Since then, I’ve spent over two decades exploring that idea.

Through sport, leadership, and psychology, working with coaches, founders, and teams under pressure.

I’ve seen the same pattern play out again and again.

We don’t struggle because we’re not capable.

We struggle because we get stuck seeing the world in one way.

ThinkClick was built to change that, to help people see differently, think clearly, and act intentionally when it matters most.

Because when Thinking Clicks, performance follows naturally.
